Hello
Finding a counsellor that is the right fit for you is an important part of the counselling process, but it can also feel like a difficult (and sometimes overwhelming) task. Here's a bit more about me to help you make that decision.
If you have any questions about me, my practice, or the way that I work, please feel free to get in touch.
My counselling focus and values
I have a general practice and am open to working with adults of all ages, however I specialise in working with young adults in their 20s and 30s. Being in my late 20s myself gives me an understanding of some of the challenges you may be experiencing at this age. This stage of life can often be filled with uncertainty around your identity, relationships, career or sense of purpose and direction.
I am also particularly passionate about supporting clients who struggle with people-pleasing, self-confidence, boundary setting and perfectionism. I love helping people live more authentically, and I strongly believe everyone should feel free to be their true selves.
I believe therapy should be accessible to everyone and I offer a lower cost session price for those who need it- just email me for more information about this.
My background
Before qualifying as a counsellor, I worked for 10 years with children and young people with learning difficulties, disabilities and neurodivergence, supporting them and their families. This has given me a deeper understanding of neurodivergence, as well as the challenges that can come with supporting family members with high support needs.
